Which? has revealed its new top-scoring Best Buy coffee machine, a compact pod model that uses a patented brewing method. Expert tasters found it produces well-balanced espressos with good body, intensity, and a consistent crema.
The machine also proved to be energy efficient, quiet, and easy to clean during rigorous testing. To qualify as a Which? Best Buy, a coffee machine must achieve a score of 75% or higher in their tests.
Which? evaluates coffee machines based on several factors, with espresso quality accounting for 40% of the overall score. Ease of use contributes 25%, while energy efficiency, quietness, and cappuccino quality each make up 10%. Personalisation accounts for the remaining 5%.
