Wales clinched a welcome victory over 10-man Norway, marking their first win of the year in a Nations League League A Group 4 clash. The home side fought back after Oscar Bobb opened the scoring for Norway.
Daniel James cancelled out Bobb’s opener in the first half. Just 17 seconds into the second half, Torbjørn Heggem was sent off for fouling James as the Leeds winger drove towards goal. From the resulting free-kick, Neco Williams netted the goal that secured three points for Craig Bellamy's side.
Norway's captain Martin Ødegaard was instrumental in their opener, with Bobb slotting in the goal. Erling Haaland had a quiet game, recording only 11 touches in the first half, the fewest of any player.
