The XPeng G6, an electric SUV, officially entered the United Kingdom in February 2025. The Chinese EV manufacturer has since updated the model, incorporating over 20,000 engineering improvements and new battery technology.
Three powertrains are available for the G6. The Standard Range model features a 68.5kWh battery, offering 258PS and a claimed 292 miles of WLTP range. The Long Range version increases output to 296PS and provides 326 miles of range from its 80.8kWh battery.
The AWD dual-motor Performance (Black Edition) uses the larger 80.8kWh battery, delivering 487PS and a claimed 316 miles of range. This version can reach 62mph in 4.1 seconds.
The Standard Range G6 can accept up to 382kW DC charging, while the Long Range and Performance models can accept up to 451kW. Under ideal conditions, a 10-80% recharge is claimed to take approximately 12 minutes.
The range-topping G6 model is priced at £49,990, which places it below the UK's £50,000 Expensive Car Supplement threshold.
