YouTube has unveiled new AI-powered features for its Studio app, designed to assist creators in managing their channels and expanding their audiences. The updates, announced at the Made on YouTube annual event, include an expansion of the Ask Studio Q&A feature to iOS and Android devices.
New AI tools will provide feedback on unpublished video drafts, offering suggestions on pacing, structure, and storytelling. The Studio app will also introduce a research feed to show creators trending content on the platform.
Creators can now generate thumbnails and titles based on video content and their personal style. A new dynamic thumbnail feature allows creators to generate three options and display each to a different segment of their audience. YouTube also plans to enable testing of up to three video cuts to assess opening hooks, and later this year, YouTube Studio will automatically monitor and proactively change underperforming thumbnails.
