As Yung Filly stood before a Western Australian court, he faced the serious allegation that a night of consensual sex with a fan turned into a violent and traumatic ordeal. The 30-year-old British YouTuber and musician has denied six counts of sexually penetrating a woman without consent in a Perth hotel room in September 2024, along with charges of impeding her breathing and assault occasioning bodily harm.

Prosecutor Danielle Clarke outlined the alleged events: what began as consensual sex between Barrientos and the 20-year-old woman escalated into violence. The prosecutor claimed Yung Filly allegedly started biting and slapping the woman before raping her multiple times, transforming a "night out meeting her celebrity crush" into a traumatic experience.

The court heard that the alleged victim had met Barrientos in a VIP area after his gig at a Perth bar. She was then invited to accompany him, believing she was going to an after-party; instead, they went to Yung Filly's Intercontinental Hotel, where his entourage was present.

Prosecutors detailed the alleged injuries sustained by the woman, including extensive bruising on her face and neck, and bite wounds on her right breast. It was claimed that during the encounter, the woman asked Barrientos to be gentle after he bit her, but he allegedly told her to stop talking, bit her harder, and then slapped her. The prosecution further stated that at this point, the woman's consent to sex had been withdrawn; however, she felt unable to escape the situation.

The trial continues in Western Australia, with the court hearing further evidence regarding the allegations. Barrientos maintains his not guilty plea to all charges.
