UK fintech Zilch is reportedly considering the London Stock Exchange for its public debut, with plans for a potential $2bn listing. Insiders suggest London is the preferred venue, with a listing likely in the second half of 2027 or early 2028. New York and Europe are also being evaluated as potential options, and discussions with bankers are expected to commence in the coming weeks.
Zilch, founded in London in 2018, last raised money in a 2025 funding round, maintaining a $2bn price tag. The firm recorded a £10.5m loss in its latest financial year, a 79 per cent reduction on the previous year, while revenue for the year ending March 2025 increased by 93 per cent to £110.3m.
The potential listing could provide a boost to the London Stock Exchange, which has seen a limited number of new IPOs in recent years. Zilch is also expected to report its latest earnings in the coming weeks, which sources close to the firm indicate will include its first two consecutive profitable quarters.
