ZoomInfo, the US-based business intelligence firm, has announced that its verified company and contact data is now integrated into Anthropic's Claude AI assistant. The move allows users of the AI chatbot to access ZoomInfo's proprietary database of business profiles, contact information, and firmographic details through natural language queries, rather than navigating the platform's traditional interface.
The integration is designed to streamline sales prospecting, market research, and lead generation. By combining ZoomInfo's curated data with Claude's conversational AI capabilities, users can ask complex questions—such as 'list all technology companies in London with more than 500 employees'—and receive structured, verified results in real time.
For UK businesses, this development could reduce the time spent manually cross-referencing company data and improve the accuracy of sales targeting. ZoomInfo's dataset is regularly updated and validated, which addresses a common criticism of AI tools that sometimes generate 'hallucinated' or outdated information.
Industry analysts note that this partnership is part of a wider trend where AI companies seek exclusive, high-quality data sources to differentiate their offerings. 'The value of an AI assistant is increasingly tied to the quality of the data it can access,' said a technology analyst. 'ZoomInfo's move gives Claude a competitive edge in the B2B space.'
ZoomInfo has not disclosed the financial terms of the agreement, but the integration is now live for Claude Pro and Team subscribers in the UK and other markets. The company has stated it plans to expand the integration to include additional data layers, such as intent signals and technographic information, in the coming months.
