Rich Hayes has departed from his position as Chief Operating Officer at property portal Zoopla, having served in the role for three years. Hayes has also stepped down as a director.
He intends to focus on his own business interests, which include his role as a strategic adviser at Mojo Mortgages, a company he co-founded, and as a non-executive director at the financial advice platform Unbiased.
A Zoopla spokesperson confirmed Hayes' decision to move on, stating he leaves to pursue his ambition of leading a business again. Zoopla has not yet announced a replacement for Hayes.
In other industry news, Iain Powis has returned to Savills as an associate director in its residential development sales team in Oxford. Powis previously spent 11 years at Savills before working for three years at independent property businesses. In his new role, he will advise on residential developments across Oxfordshire and surrounding areas.
