This service can manage a range of tasks associated with moving, from notifying local councils of a change of address to setting up broadband, utilities, and insurance services. Just Move In also highlights its commitment to sustainability, recommending environmentally friendly utility suppliers where available and planting a tree for every mover.
For property managers, particularly in the lettings sector, the implications are substantial. The partnership directly addresses operational challenges often faced during tenant changeovers and void periods. According to Just Move In, their platform has the potential to reduce the administrative time spent on change of occupancy by as much as 90%. This could translate into average savings of 19 hours per month for property managers, achieved through automated utility notifications and streamlined supplier updates when tenants vacate properties.
