AI startup Simile has announced the closure of a $200 million Series B funding round, bringing its valuation to $2 billion. This follows its $100 million Series A round, which was announced five months ago.

The Series B round was led by Greenoaks. Other participants included Index, Hanabi, Bain Capital Ventures, A*, Factory, Definition, and CVS Health Ventures. CVS is also listed as a customer of Simile.

Simile offers simulated users for applications such as marketing and product research. The company was founded by Joon Sung Park, a Stanford PhD graduate whose dissertation included a project involving AI agents simulating human lives.
