An exhibition by artist Alex Margo Arden, titled 'Nothing Personal', features a collection of objects and books based on what Amy Winehouse once owned. Arden assembled the display in a Chelsea flat, using duplicates of items such as Winehouse's makeup, copies of Vogue, boardgames, and books, acquired through archive material and auction records.
Elsewhere, the Barbican is hosting Yuko Mohri's 'In Concert' installation, where the building's leaks are repurposed as elements of the artwork. Water drips from pipes and sinks, gathering in containers and triggering musical instruments, turning the Barbican's infrastructure into a soundscape.
Rebecca Warren's 'There Will Be Another You' marks her first London show in 16 years. The exhibition showcases her unfired clay and bronze figures, described as angular and gritty, including large bronze nudes.
Other free exhibitions include Yuyan Wang's film work 'Pilgrims', which explores artificial light and its implications, and William Kentridge's 'A Nicely Built City', an animated film about Johannesburg.
