Anthony Barnes, 45, who identifies as 'The Hotel Investigator', has admitted to breaching a community protection notice that prohibited him from entering Surrey. Barnes, from London, changed his plea to guilty at Staines Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The breach occurred when Barnes attended an anti-immigration protest outside a hotel in Horley on 23 August 2025. He had initially pleaded not guilty in November.
Barnes, who operates the YouTube account AY Audits, received a 12-month conditional discharge. This means he will face no further action if he does not re-offend within the next year.
