Kimi Antonelli delivered an extraordinary performance at the Italian Grand Prix, battling from 19th on the grid to claim victory. The 20-year-old caught and passed his team-mate George Russell with just three laps to go, securing a stunning win.
Russell, who started second and led for a significant portion of the race, now trails Antonelli by 66 points in the drivers' championship. Max Verstappen secured a podium finish despite reporting problems with the rear of his car.
Elsewhere, Pierre Gasly had a superb weekend for Alpine, achieving pole position on Saturday. He finished seventh in the race, unable to maintain pace with quicker cars but still completing a strong showing. Ferrari faced a difficult home race, with Charles Leclerc crashing early and Lewis Hamilton finishing sixth.
