Apple unveils new Mac Mini with M6 chip, starting at $899

Apple has launched a new Mac Mini featuring its latest M6 processor, with a base model priced at $899. The company also introduced a Mac Mini with the M5 Pro chip and new Mac Studio models.

Apple today unveiled a new Mac Mini, powered by its latest M6 processor. The base model of this device is priced at $899 and includes 256GB of storage and 16GB of RAM.

Apple claims the new M6 Mac Mini offers four times better AI performance compared to the M4 model, with storage and graphics twice as fast. The M6 processor features a 12-core CPU and 12-core GPU.

Alongside the M6 model, Apple also released a Mac Mini with the M5 Pro chip, starting at $1,699. This variant comes with 512GB of storage and 24GB of RAM. Both new Mac Mini models support Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.

The new Mac Minis are available for pre-order now and are scheduled to begin shipping on September 22nd, running macOS 27 and Siri AI. The company also introduced new Mac Studio models, featuring M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips, with prices starting at $2,499 and $5,499 respectively.
