Apple will launch its first folding phone, the iPhone Duo, on October 23, 2026. Pre-orders for the device will open on October 16, with prices starting from £1,999.
The iPhone Duo features an additional folding screen that tucks beneath an external top screen, unfolding into a 7.6-inch tablet. Apple states that when unfolded, it is the slimmest iPhone and has a larger screen than any other model.
Key features include multitasking across apps, hands-free photo taking, 'Duo FaceTime' for multiple participants, and 'Kid Cue' for capturing children's attention for photos. The phone is equipped with a seven-core A20 Pro processor, 12GB of RAM, two 48-megapixel rear cameras, and 12MP front-facing cameras. It also offers upgraded Siri AI features, such as advanced photo-editing, proofreading, and live translation.
The base model includes 256GB of storage, while a 2TB solid-state drive (SSD) version will cost £3,199. For comparison, the iPhone Pro Max 18 starts at £1,299.
