Anton Hall, the sole director of the competitions company Level Up Giveaways, which was wound up in August 2025 over unpaid debts, is reportedly involved in a new prize draw venture. Mr Hall was made bankrupt in November 2025 as part of separate proceedings.
The BBC understands Level Up Giveaways owed tens of thousands in unpaid prizes to customers before it stopped trading. Ami Shuttleworth and Chris Smith, who were told they had won £10,000, and Mel Higgins, who was told she had won £5,000, stated they did not receive their winnings.
Bankruptcy restrictions state that court permission is needed to act as a company director, including indirectly taking part in the management of a limited company. Mr Hall told the BBC he has not set up or owned a limited company, nor is he a director or manager of one, stating the competitions he hosted have been run personally through the Raffall platform.
However, Mr Hall appears to have played a leading role in promoting and running the new enterprise, which is also in his name. Raffall founder and CEO Stelios Kounou confirmed the account @antonlevelup was registered to Mr Hall personally and that payments were made only to an account held in his name.
Mr Hall's bankruptcy restrictions, which include informing his bankruptcy trustee about any additional income, are set to expire on 7 November. He stated he had "not made any net profit" from running the draws and, after being contacted by the BBC, suggested in a social media post he would no longer be running competitions.
