Liverpool's new £123m signing, Bradley Barcola, is set to make his debut for the club in Friday's away fixture against Ipswich. Manager Andoni Iraola confirmed the French winger's availability, stating that Barcola is in a "good place" despite not having played since the World Cup.

Barcola joined Liverpool from Paris Saint-Germain on the penultimate day of the transfer window. Iraola did not rule out the 23-year-old starting at Portman Road, as the Spaniard seeks his first win in charge after two draws.

Iraola expressed satisfaction with the club's transfer activity, which also included the additions of Jeremy Jacquet, Victor Munoz, and Ronald Araujo on loan. He also confirmed that Liverpool successfully rebuffed an approach from Manchester City for Cody Gakpo, keeping the Dutch forward at the club.
