Bradley Barcola netted his first Liverpool hat-trick as Andoni Iraola's side secured a 6-3 Champions League victory over LASK in Austria. The France international winger, 24, had not scored in his initial five appearances for the Reds since his transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.
Alongside Barcola's treble, defender Ronald Araujo scored his first Liverpool goal, while Jeremie Frimpong and Lewis Koumas also found the net. Koumas's goal was his first for the club in two-and-a-half years, having started in place of the injured Alexander Isak.
Despite the strong attacking performance, Liverpool conceded three goals for the second consecutive game. However, this Champions League win, following an earlier victory against Atletico Madrid, puts Iraola's team back on track after a 3-0 loss to Manchester City on Sunday.
