Leeds band Bathing Suits, a four-piece formed in 2024, have spoken about their distinctive sound and live performances. The group, consisting of Freyja Blevins, Alex Mulholland, Elise Hughes, and George Dickinson, describe their music as 'industrial freak pop'.

The band's debut EP, 'Kill Bathing Suits', was released in April. Each of the five tracks on the EP was written during live performances. Their song 'I Can Be a Freak', which samples Estelle, is currently their biggest track and was recently remixed to feature Valentine Caulfield of Mandy, Indiana.

Bathing Suits are known for their chaotic live shows, which have included incidents such as broken equipment and stage diving. Bassist Elise Hughes confirmed that the band 'had to stop' starting punch-ups on stage, though equipment damage continues, with Hughes' bass recently destroyed at gigs in France.
