The BFI London Film Festival is set to run from 7 to 18 October, featuring a diverse lineup of films with performances from actors such as Andrew Scott, Scarlett Johansson, Pedro Pascal, Cynthia Erivo, Penélope Cruz, and Julianne Moore.

This year's festival will launch with a gala presentation of Elsinore, a British drama starring Andrew Scott as Ian Charleson. Other notable films include Danny Boyle’s Ink, which focuses on Rupert Murdoch's early career, and Martin McDonagh’s new comedy, Wild Horse Nine.

The festival will also screen Artificial, a film starring Andrew Garfield as OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, and Tender Loving Care, which its 83-year-old maker Mike Leigh has indicated will likely be his final movie. In total, 251 titles from 88 nations will be shown, with 14 productions screening across 10 cinemas nationwide.
