Dublin rock band Fontaines D.C. have added a second 80,000 capacity show at Slane Castle, County Meath, on June 27, 2027. This follows significant demand for their previously announced date on June 26, 2027.
The initial Slane Castle performance was announced on Monday, August 31, with support from Hayley Williams, Damien Dempsey, and Madra Salach. These shows will make Fontaines D.C. only the third Irish act to headline the historic venue, following Thin Lizzy in 1981 and U2 in 2001.
Tickets for the newly added June 27 date are available via pre-sale now, with general sale beginning tomorrow, Thursday, September 3, at 10am BST. Both Slane Castle gigs are scheduled during Glastonbury weekend.
The band is also preparing to release their fifth studio album, 'Dopamine Chamber', on October 16 through XL Recordings. The album, produced by James Ford, follows their 2024 UK platinum-certified album 'Romance'.
