In another incident on 16 January 2023, a resident of Cwmtwrch, Swansea, reported seeing a 'leopard with spots' walking around their garden. A Canadian lynx was reportedly sighted in Port Henri, Carmarthenshire, on 13 May 2025, prompting a report to Dyfed-Powys Police. While no further action was taken following this report, it is worth noting that North Wales Police investigated another 'big cat' sighting in Denbighshire and confirmed that it was not of a real animal.
