Billy Evans sought profit from Elizabeth Holmes documentary, film reveals

A new documentary about Elizabeth Holmes and Billy Evans reveals Evans' attempt to profit from the film and his admission of not informing Holmes about it. The film also details his political views and his management of Holmes's social media.

  • Billy Evans asked for a share of the profits from the documentary 'You Can See Everything' but ultimately declined.
  • Evans admitted he did not tell Elizabeth Holmes about his attempt to profit from the film.
  • Evans claimed to be Elizabeth Holmes's power of attorney and manages her X account, sometimes without her consultation.

Billy Evans, the fiancé of disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, reportedly sought a share of the profits from the new documentary, 'You Can See Everything'. The film, which premiered in US cinemas on Friday, 16 October 2026, follows Holmes and Evans leading up to her prison stay.

According to the documentary, Evans discussed receiving a share of the film's profits with director Nathan Fielder, Lance Oppenheim, and A24 executives. This conversation occurred before release forms were signed and while Holmes was not present. Evans later declined to profit from the film.

Fielder questioned Evans about whether Holmes was aware of the potential profit. Evans admitted he purposely withheld this information from her, stating, "I purposely didn’t want her to be aware of it." Holmes had reportedly told Fielder she was "obviously not making any money" from the film.

The documentary also reveals Evans's political views, including his support for the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was killed in September 2025. Evans stated he carries a gun for safety. Additionally, Evans claimed to be Holmes's power of attorney and confirmed he manages her X account, often posting without consulting her, attributing it to the "trust" in their relationship.

Holmes was convicted in January 2022 on four counts of fraud and conspiracy and is serving over 11 years in prison. Her petition for clemency, submitted in December, remains pending.
