Block Blast!, the mobile game that was most downloaded last year, has been added to Apple's subscription gaming service, Apple Arcade. Apple announced on Tuesday that Block Blast!+, an ad-free version of the puzzle game, will be released on September 3.
The game has approximately 725 million lifetime installs, according to Appfigures, with other estimates suggesting up to 868 million. Apple's internal data indicates it was the most downloaded free iPhone game in 2025 and continued to rank highly in early 2026.
Fans of Block Blast! have often requested a subscription option to remove ads, which typically play after every loss. The Apple Arcade version will provide this ad-free experience.
