Iconic New York rock band Blondie are set to release their 12th studio album, 'High Noon', on 26 February 2027 via BMG. This marks their first collection of new material in nine years.
The album features the final recordings of co-founder and drummer Clem Burke, who passed away last year. Special guests on the 13-song record include Johnny Marr, Glen Matlock, Zach Condon of Beirut, and Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig of Lucius.
The lead single, 'Spectral Eyes', written by and featuring Johnny Marr on guitar, was released on Thursday, 15 October 2026. Debbie Harry described the album as "classic Blondie – an amalgamation of all our different influences and eras into something new."
Sessions for 'High Noon' began in 2022, with the band reuniting with producer John Congleton. The visual elements of the album were developed in collaboration with artist and director Rob Roth, who has worked with Blondie since 1999.
