Blossoms frontman Tom Ogden surprised fans last night by joining Niall Horan on stage in Manchester for a performance of 'Charlemagne'. The unexpected duet took place during Horan's 'Dinner Party Live On Tour' at Co-op Live.
Ogden appeared seven songs into Horan's set to sing Blossoms' breakout hit, which originally came out in 2015 and was the opening track on their 2016 self-titled debut album.
Blossoms recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of their debut album with a show at Manchester’s Deaf Institute. The band is also preparing to release their sixth album, 'Songs From The Wedding Cake', on October 2, followed by their largest headline tour, including two dates at Co-op Live in November and December.
Horan's Manchester gig was part of the opening week of his 'Dinner Party Live On Tour', which began in Birmingham on September 22. The tour is set to continue across the UK and Europe, concluding with two shows in Dublin and a final date in Belfast in November.
