Punk rapper Bobby Vylan will face no further action from the Metropolitan Police regarding chants made at an Al Quds Day demonstration in central London. The performer was investigated after chanting "death, death to the IDF (Israel Defense Forces)" at a static rally on the Albert Embankment on 15 March.
A Met Police spokesperson stated that early investigative advice was sought from the Crown Prosecution Service. Following consideration of this advice, officers concluded that no further action would be taken. The force acknowledged the concerns caused, particularly among London's Jewish communities, and stated they continue to work with community representatives to ensure the safety and security of Jewish Londoners.
The artist, Pascal Robinson-Foster, performs as one half of the duo Bob Vylan. He posted on social media that he would "not be intimidated" by the prospect of legal repercussions. This follows a December investigation by Avon and Somerset Police into similar chants made at the Glastonbury Festival in June 2025, which also concluded with no further action.
