Bow Echo, with jockey Billy Loughnane, secured a victory in the Sussex Stakes on Wednesday. This win marks Bow Echo as the first horse since Frankel to complete the milers' triple crown, having also won the 2,000 Guineas and St James’s Palace Stakes.

Loughnane, 20, navigated Bow Echo from a challenging position at the two-furlong pole to chase down Ryan Moore and Gstaad, ultimately winning by half a length. Trainer George Boughey stated that Bow Echo's performance was a career-best, despite difficulties during the race, and that the horse is improving.

Bow Echo is currently unbeaten in six starts. The colt may compete next in France, with the Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville or the Prix du Moulin at Longchamp as potential targets. The long-term goal for Bow Echo is the Breeders’ Cup Mile at Keeneland in Kentucky on 31 October.
