  • Scotland's women's wheelchair 3x3 team, including Robyn Love, won silver after an 18-10 defeat to England in the gold-medal match.
  • The Scottish men's 3x3 team, featuring Kyle Jimenez and Ross Malcolm, earned bronze by beating New Zealand 18-16.
  • The men's wheelchair team lost their bronze-medal match against Canada 19-9.

Scotland's women's wheelchair 3x3 basketball team achieved a silver medal at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow on Wednesday. The team, which included Robyn Love, Lea Smith, Kayli English, and Jodie Waite, secured silver after an 18-10 defeat to England in the gold-medal match.

Robyn Love, 35, the sole survivor from the team that lost a bronze medal match to England four years ago in Birmingham, expressed her privilege at coaching and achieving silver with the group. She noted the improvement of playing in the SEC compared to a car park.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Scottish men's 3x3 team claimed a bronze medal, defeating New Zealand 18-16. Kyle Jimenez, Ross Malcolm, Skylar White, and Owen McCormack made up the team. This marked a significant achievement for Jimenez and Malcolm, who had previously lost in bronze-medal games in 2018 and 2022.

However, there was disappointment for the wheelchair men's team, who lost their bronze-medal match to Canada with a score of 19-9.
