A 13-year-old boy has been charged with murder after a man was fatally stabbed in Sydney's west on Friday. Emergency services were called to Mt Druitt on Friday evening following reports of an assault.
Police found a man, believed to be in his 30s, with stab wounds to his torso. Paramedics attended, but the man died at the scene.
The 13-year-old boy was arrested on Sunday at Mt Druitt police station. He faces charges of murder, breach of bail, and an unrelated robbery offence. A 16-year-old boy was arrested later that evening in Cabramatta and charged with murder and accessory after the fact to an offence.
Both boys have been refused bail and are scheduled to appear before a children's court on Monday. Police have encouraged anyone with information, including CCTV or dashcam footage, to come forward as inquiries continue.
