Brad Pitt made a rare public appearance with his girlfriend Ines de Ramon at the fifth annual Albie Awards in London. The event, created by George and Amal Clooney, was held at the Natural History Museum on Friday night.
Stars arrived for the awards ceremony, which aims to "shine a protective spotlight on courageous justice defenders who are at risk." Pitt and Ms de Ramon were among the famous faces photographed on the red carpet.
The Albie Awards are named after anti-apartheid hero Justice Albie Sachs. The Clooney Foundation for Justice, co-founded by George and Amal Clooney, provides free legal aid in defence of free speech and women's rights.
Comedian Graham Norton hosted the ceremony. Other attendees included Hugh Bonneville, Richard Kind, Laura Dern, Isla Fisher, and Emma Thompson with her daughter Gaia Wise.
Among those honoured at this year's awards were Kyrgyz journalists Bolot Temirov and Makhabat Tazhibek Kyzy, Malawian women's rights advocate Vanessa Mwangala, and American photojournalist Lynsey Addario.
