Bradford Bulls Women have announced the appointment of Amy Hardcastle as their new head coach. The 37-year-old centre, who retired from international rugby last month, began her playing career with the Bulls.

Hardcastle holds the record as England's all-time leading try scorer, with 30 tries from 29 caps. She will combine her new coaching role with the National Championship side while continuing to play for Women's Super League team St Helens.

Speaking to the club website, Hardcastle stated, "Bradford Bulls has always been a special club to me, so the opportunity to return in this role is something that means a huge amount personally." She added, "I want our women's team to represent what Bradford Bulls stands for - passion, pride, hard work, togetherness and ambition."
