Brighton captain Lewis Dunk, alongside a group of teammates, has made a generous gesture to the 407 Brighton supporters making the journey to Tromso for tonight's Conference League play-off. The players have refunded the cost of match tickets for all travelling fans.
In addition to covering ticket expenses, the players are also providing each supporter with a T-shirt and scarf for the game. Dunk explained that this gesture acknowledges the fans' efforts to organise a last-minute trip to support the team.
Dunk expressed hope that the gesture would be appreciated and mark a positive start to the season with the fans. Looking ahead to the match, he anticipates an 'interesting' game and aims for the team to qualify for the Conference League proper, building on last season's work.
