Bristol singer Diogo Ferreira has made it through the blind auditions of The Voice UK, with all four celebrity judges turning their chairs during his performance. The 28-year-old, who lives in Bristol, appeared on the first episode of the season and chose to join Will.i.am's team.
Mr Ferreira dedicated his song to "finding love" and described making it through as a "pinch me" moment. He is now set to appear in the battle stage of the competition.
Born in Portugal and raised in Cumbria, Mr Ferreira spent part of his childhood in foster care after moving to England with his father. He now works as a youth worker at Project 224 in South Bristol, supporting local children.
