David and Victoria Beckham were seen supporting their son, Cruz Beckham, as he performed at Reading Festival today. Cruz and his band, The Breakers, played a 30-minute set on the festival's new Canopy stage.

Footage shared online shows the former England football captain smiling while watching from the side of the stage, with the former Spice Girls singer alongside him.

Cruz's appearance comes amid discussions surrounding the Canopy stage, which has replaced the BBC Introducing Stage. Some fans have reportedly nicknamed it the “nepo baby stage” due to the connections of some artists in its inaugural line-up, which also includes Violet Grohl and Gene Gallagher.

Festival Republic stated that the Canopy stage aims to support a wider and more diverse range of emerging musicians. They also told The Guardian that the stage is open to emerging artists from all backgrounds.
