A Derbyshire teenager's passion for buses was celebrated in an extraordinary fashion recently when he received a free, personalised bus service to his school prom. Sam, 16, a dedicated bus spotter since childhood, was treated to a unique journey to Pride Park Stadium for his Heanor Gate Spencer Academy leavers' party, an experience he described as "the best time of our lives."
The surprise was orchestrated by his mother, Gemma, who initially approached local bus operator trentbarton in October.
