California Governor Gavin Newsom has placed his Sacramento-area mansion on the market with an asking price of $7.5 million. The Spanish-style residence in Fair Oaks, a suburb of the state capital, became available on Monday.

The property, which sits on 8.2 acres, boasts 12 bathrooms, seven bedrooms, a full-size tennis court, a 5,000-bottle wine cellar, a pool, a cold plunge, and a hot tub. Newsom's term as governor is set to conclude in January.

Newsom, who was elected governor in 2018, is reportedly considering a bid for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2028. The governor and his family moved into the Fair Oaks estate in 2019, with a spokesperson at the time describing it as "more kid-friendly."
