Cap table management platform Pulley has announced its closure, with services set to end on December 8th, 2026. The company, which was founded in 2020 by Yin Wu and raised over $50 million from investors such as General Catalyst, Stripe, and Founders Fund, stated on its website that it is partnering with rival Carta to manage the transition of its customers.

Pulley did not provide a specific reason for the shutdown. However, a former employee reportedly speculated online that the company's main competition was spreadsheets, with startups increasingly using AI to manage and improve them.

In a LinkedIn statement, Wu thanked her team and backers, indicating that she and many team members intend to continue addressing significant challenges.
