The Carabao Cup second round draw will see Premier League teams not involved in European football join the competition. Chelsea and Tottenham are among the top-flight clubs entering the fray at this stage.
Other Premier League teams in the draw include Newcastle and Leeds. Relegated clubs West Ham, Wolves, and Burnley, who progressed through the first round, will also discover their opponents.
The competition remains regionalised into north and south sections to manage travel demands. The second-round matches are scheduled to take place in the week commencing 24 August.
