Cardiff City are reportedly set to sign midfielder Jack Moylan from Championship rivals Lincoln City. The 24-year-old was a key figure in the Imps' promotion to the Championship, scoring 11 goals and providing six assists as they secured the League One title ahead of the Bluebirds.
Moylan's impressive season also led to his first call-up to the Republic of Ireland national team, where he scored a hat-trick on debut in a 5-0 victory against Grenada. The former Bohemians and Shelbourne player is expected to link up with Cardiff boss Brian Barry-Murphy, who is also Irish.
This move would make Moylan Cardiff's second summer recruit, following the signing of Nathan Trott in May. The Bluebirds recently defeated Roma 4-1 and are preparing to host Swindon Town in the EFL Cup on Saturday, 8 August.
