Leicestershire estate agency Carlton Estates has acquired Fox Country Properties in Market Bosworth. This deal expands the Narborough-based independent agency's presence across the county.
Anthony and Angela Fox previously owned Fox Country Properties. The existing team will remain with the business following the acquisition.
Carlton Estates managing directors Sam Carnall and Charlie Carnall acquired the agency as part of their expansion plans. Sam Carnall stated that Fox is a well-established business with a strong presence and a team knowledgeable in their market. Charlie Carnall added that the strength of an independent agency lies in its people and the relationships they build.
The acquisition marks the latest stage in Carlton Estates' growth, which was founded by Paul Carnall in 2004. The business initially focused on residential sales and expanded into lettings after the 2007–08 financial crisis. By its 20th anniversary in 2024, Carlton Estates was managing several hundred rental properties.
