Two fierce football rivalries are set to be renewed this weekend in the Championship. Millwall will host West Ham at The Den on Saturday lunchtime, marking their first encounter in almost 15 years. This 'Dockers Derby' dates back to 1899 and has seen 60 meetings in total.
On Sunday, the Black Country derby returns as Wolves welcome West Bromwich Albion to Molineux. This will be the 164th senior meeting between the clubs and their first since an FA Cup tie in January 2024. The rivalry has spanned over 140 years.
The return fixture between Millwall and West Ham is scheduled for February at the London Stadium. For the Black Country foes, the last league game played in front of fans at Molineux was in February 2012.
