Chelsea contact Wijnaldum; Richarlison agrees Trabzonspor move

Chelsea have reportedly made contact with former Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum regarding a potential free transfer. The 35-year-old Dutch international left Saudi Pro-League club Al-Ettifaq earlier this summer.

Meanwhile, Tottenham's Brazilian forward Richarlison, 29, has reportedly agreed to join Turkish club Trabzonspor. His proposed salary is said to be three times more than what he currently earns at Spurs.

In other transfer news, Arsenal are considering a move for Bournemouth's 20-year-old French forward Eli Junior Kroupi in January. Everton, however, are not planning to sign any players currently available on a free transfer, despite a challenging end to the transfer window.

Newcastle and Aston Villa are expected to continue their pursuit of Bayer Leverkusen's 20-year-old Cameroon forward Christian Kofane when the transfer window reopens. Manchester United reportedly decided against signing a left-back in the final days of the transfer window due to an inability to identify a suitable option.
