Deftones frontman Chino Moreno has collaborated with Beabadoobee on a new song, 'Satellite'. The track serves as the closing number on Beabadoobee's fourth studio album, 'Pylon', which was released last Friday, September 18.
Beabadoobee, whose real name is Beatrice Laus, sings on the emotional track, with lyrics such as: "I wonder if you think of me/ Like the way you used to/ I’m hanging upside down/ Don’t want to let you down again." Moreno contributes subtle backing vocals, as 'Satellite' transitions into a heavy, distorted alt-rock chorus.
The album 'Pylon' features additional contributions from artists including Paramore's Hayley Williams, Turnstile's Brendan Yates, Pinegrove's Evan Stephens Hall, and The 1975's Matty Healy and George Daniel. Shane Moran of Title Fight also co-wrote several tracks on the LP. Singles from 'Pylon' include 'Memories', 'Switchblade', and 'Sun Has Set'.
Beabadoobee is scheduled to embark on her first UK, European, and North American arena tours this year. The UK and European leg is set for November, with performances planned in London, Glasgow, Cardiff, and Manchester.
