Jeremy Clarkson's show, Clarkson's Farm, has been awarded the reality docuseries prize at the National Television Awards. Clarkson commented that the victory was a "vote for farmers."
The Prime Video production triumphed over other programmes in the category, including At Home With The Furys, Stacey & Joe, and Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing. Clarkson received the award from Francis Bourgeois, James Engelsman and Thomas Holland.
Speaking backstage, Clarkson also discussed the recent theft of 11 breeding ewes from his farm, stating they were worth over £2000. He noted that farmers are armed and questioned why people do not realise this. Clarkson also mentioned a previous prostate cancer diagnosis, explaining that an April PSA test showed no indication of the disease and he is in remission.
