Cliftonville has moved eight points clear at the top of the Women's Premiership following a 2-1 win against title rivals Glentoran at the Blanchflower Stadium.
Teegan Lynch opened the scoring for Cliftonville in the 23rd minute. Glentoran's Nadene Caldwell equalised just after the hour mark, but Caitlin McGuinness secured the victory for Cliftonville in the final 10 minutes.
The result strengthens Cliftonville's position in the title race and dents Glentoran's chances of retaining their title. Cliftonville will face Derry City in their final pre-split fixture, while Glentoran has two more matches before the split.
