Céline Dion returned to the stage in Paris on Saturday, performing her first full live show in more than six years. The singer, visibly emotional, addressed the sold-out crowd, stating it was “amazing we are all together”.
Dion had taken an extended break to manage her health, having been diagnosed with stiff person syndrome (SPS) in 2022. She last performed a full set in 2020 as part of her Courage Tour.
The Paris performance marks the beginning of a residency at the Plenitude Arena, scheduled to run until 29 May 2027. The initial 10 shows were increased to 26 due to high demand, with tickets selling out within hours of going on sale.
