Cole Palmer has put pen to paper on a new, improved contract with Chelsea, extending his stay at Stamford Bridge until 2034. The 24-year-old England international was already contracted until 2033 but has been rewarded for his strong performances, emerging as a key attacking player and a dressing-room leader.
This new deal places Palmer among an elite group with one of the longest contracts in the Premier League. Only Manchester City's Erling Haaland and Chelsea teammates Joao Pedro and Geovany Quenda are also contracted until 2034.
Palmer has enjoyed a return to form this season, netting four goals and assisting two in seven matches. This follows a groin issue last season that led to his omission from England's World Cup squad. Manager Xabi Alonso confirmed Palmer is expected to be available for Saturday's match against Bournemouth, stating he is committed to playing for England when fully fit.
