Glasgow is currently hosting a slimmed-down version of the Commonwealth Games, with athletes from 74 nations and territories vying for gold. The Scottish city took on hosting duties after the Australian state of Victoria withdrew three years ago due to the associated costs.
The Games feature a 10-sport programme, which includes six Para sports, across four Glasgow venues. Athletics, gymnastics, cycling, and swimming are among the sports on display. Scotstoun Stadium, with its 11,000-spectator capacity, will host the athletics events, where new mile world record holder Josh Kerr is expected to be a major home attraction.
Coverage of the Games is available live on TNT Sports and HBO Max.
