County cricket saw several notable performances today, despite widespread delays due to wet conditions. Durham's David Bedingham struck his fifth century of the Championship season, reaching the milestone off 99 balls as Durham built a 194-run lead over Gloucestershire.

At Edgbaston, Nottinghamshire's Joe Clarke hit a stylish, unbeaten 146 against Warwickshire. This innings also saw him pass the 1,000-run mark for the season.
